Ooh la la!

Hello Everyone,

I'm back after a longish enough break, but as you know - I will be away for most of July/August & September, only popping in every now and then. I thought I would say a quick hello and share with you a card I made for the Love to Create Challenge Blog - Jackie asked me to guest design for her. Thanks Jackie! The theme is Hugs and Wishes, and we got to play with Stamp Annie Thing's stamps.

Hope you like it! It's really cheerful, love the colour combo!

I'm entering the card into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Oranges and Lemons
Inky Impressions - Summer
Creative Creations - Anything goes
I love Promarkers - Anything goes

Have a good evening,

M.

Expose your bum! ;-)

Good evening Everyone,

Hope you're having fab weather, too! I am loving the sun!

I started a new job recently, and my new colleagues rather quickly got to know about my card-making hobby, seeing that a good few people came to order cards from me. I got an order from one of the "newbies", also! I was asked to make a funny/cheeky card with a nurse, for a poorly feeling father. No better image for such card than Kenny K's Naughty Nurse! Now, unfortunately I cannot give the rightful credit to the person who came up with the witty sentiment - I was browsing around for a few days, looking for something funny, and when I finally found it, I wrote down the sentiment, but never saved the link to that person's blog! Huge apologies! :-(

I was quite happy with how the card came together - the colours were "slightly" inspired by the American flags in my workplace for the celebrations of the 4th of July ;-) The colleague who ordered the card was absolutely delighted, and made another order! And the card itself is currently on its way to the recipient... Hope he likes it, too, and it makes him feel better!

There's no better medium than some Glossy Accents! :-)
You can partially see here what the inside was like:

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Love to create - ribbon and bling
A gem of a challenge - Lots of Layers
Inky Impressions - Red, white and blue
As you like it - 3 favourite embellishments (Glossy Accents, cause it makes the cards look more interesting, Ribbon, cause it's just a must, and so are the little Gems)

Now let's just hope for some more sun!

M.
