MFT Camp Create - Spectacular Shakers

Hi Everyone,

Are you still with me on this MFT Camp Create journey? :o) I hope you are! It's the 5th and final card share today, and today's theme is...shaker cards! Love love love shakers!

I was already in the zone of shaped cards from the previous creation, and so I took on myself making not only a shaker card, but I decided to make a shaped shaker card! And I am quite pleased to say that - even though it was fiddly as hell - the end result makes me rather happy!

I got to play with my new Simon Says Stamp Balloons dies, some of my recently acquired sequins, and - of course - I used my beloved "Ewe are the best" stampset from MFT. The sentiment is from the lovely SSS "Reason to smile" release - such a good purchase that was! :o)

This time I really hope you like the card! I'm not happy with my creations too often, as you know.

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
MFT Camp Create - Spectacular Shakers
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Add some shimmer
A Gem of a Challenge - Love and Romance
Passion for ProMarkers - Inspired by a song title (Mary had a little lamb)
Crafty Friends - Inspired by a song (Mary had a little lamb)

YAY, I earned my fifth badge at the camp!

And here are all 5 of my cards, quite a cute and versatile bunch, don't you think?

Thank you so much, MFT, for organising this fun challenge, and making me think outside the box a bit! I loved every minute of making these, even though they were during very late night hours! :o)

The coming weeks will probably be a bit quieter on the blog - as you might already know, I am going to move countries mid-July, and so my craft room will be in transit for a few weeks! I'll try to stay strong, think of me!

Supply list will be updated soon, I promise! :o)

MFT Camp Create - Delightful Die Cutting

Hi Everyone,

Time for card number 4 made for the MFT Camp Create challenge. I honestly have to say, it was so much fun to create all these cards! Also, I truly can't wait to share my 5th card with you - I like it loads! :o)

The Delightful Diecutting challenge was definitely a fun one - I love using my Big Shot! I even decided to make the whole card base using a shape cut out with (Spellbinders) dies - cute little circular cards are somehow really appealing to me.

The elements of the scene were coloured (again!) with the use of my beloved Distress Inks, I truly can't get enough of them... The little sheep was coloured with ProMarkers, and I added some white gel pen accents here and there, as well as some Wink of Stella shimmer on the balloon. All in all, a rather simple card, but I really like it. I hope you like it, too?

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
MFT Camp Create - Delightful die cutting
Passion for ProMarkers - Inspired by a song title (Mary had a little lamb)
Crafty Friends - Inspired by a song (Mary had a little lamb)
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Animal Magic
I love ProMarkers - For a child
Here comes badge number 4 - very proud to have earned it! Only one to go...!

Have a great evening and see you again tomorrow,

M.

MFT Camp Create - Wonderful Watercolours

Hi Everyone,

Welcome back! Today's creation is a watercolour one, and boy was this a fun one to create!

I wanted to create a little scene using some of the scene builder stamps from the MFT "Ewe are the best" stamp set. Somehow, an idea popped into my head, incorporating both the MFT set, and my recent purchase from Pretty Pink Posh - Rainy Days (and yes, the tag and the sequins are from PPP, too! :o)).

I used Distress Inks for the whole card - the rainbow background was blended using the blending tool, and the scene on the tag was painted with the use of water; the raindrops were stamped with Distress Inks, too (I love the versatility of these inks!).

The tag shows a rainy, gloomy scene. As per the sentiment, I am wishing the recipient brighter days - which are represented by the rainbow in the background. I hope this comes across on the card? Or is it only in my head? :o)

The whole card was spritzed with a shimmer spray, but the wonderful shimmer unfortunately doesn't show in the pictures.

I am entering the card into the following challenges:

MFT Camp Create - Wonderful Watercolours
(inspired mostly by Heather's card with the blended rainbow backgrounds, however the other cards inspired me to use the Rainy Days stampset)

I had loads of time with this card, I must say! Hope you liked it, too! Here's the badge I earned this time:

See you again tomorrow,
M.

MFT Camp Create - Sensational Sliders

Hello,

And here I am, back again! :o) This will be my second and last post for today, the other cards I mentioned in my previous post will be uploaded in the coming days.

The second challenge over at MFT are "sensational sliders". And yes, I do realise that my card is not a slider, however the challenge organisers advised in their rules that wobblers, googly eyes and other movement options are acceptable, too. And since I had a few wobblers here and there in my craftroom (they usually end up scattered all over the place for some reason!), I decided to use one of them.

This card is not very complex - on the contrary, it's quite a Clean/Quick and Simple one. However, I do believe that the wobbler adds loads of fun to it, and a too busy card would simply distract from this cool feature. This would be a fab card for a kid (or a big kid, LOL).

The card is mostly watercoloured with the use of Distress Inks - I started with only blending on the sky and the hills with the blending tool, but in the end decided that I wanted a more loose look to it. I went over the blended scene with a wet brush and voila - a new look! :o) Somehow, the watercolour messiness seems to me more appropriate for this card - what do you think?

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
MFT Camp Create - Sensational Sliders (used an action wobbler as per rules mentioned in the challenge video)
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Animal Magic
Crafty Friends - Inspired by a song ("Baa baa black sheep" which my little baba adores, and I have to keep singing it to her - hence the card had to have a black sheep!)

Wobblers and googly eyes always make me smile - they're just so fun and different! I hope you like this simple card.

I am showcasing my second MFT Camp Create badge with pride:
I'll be back tomorrow with more cute sheep - stay tuned!

MFT Camp Create - Glitzy Glitter

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're having a great weekend! I've had a very busy and stressful week, and am now enjoying a well deserved holiday in Poland. The weather is fantastic and I get to see lots of my family members and friends - it's a win-win for me! :o)

I have been working hard in my craftroom in the last few days, in order to make cards for the MFT Camp Create challenge.

I managed to make them all before I left on holidays, and am going to showcase them to you in the coming days. I hope you like them. I surely had fun creating them - it's a fabulous and fun challenge! Additionally, since I only own one MFT stamp set, and a few dies - I really had to think outside the box to make the cards versatile, plus it felt great to make so many fun creations with the same supplies as the base.

So, without further ado - here comes the first card, for the Glitzy Glitter challenge.

I needed a thank you card for a friend, and seeing that she's a very girly girl (glitter and pink are just up her alley!) AND sheep have a special meaning to the two of us (don't ask, only the 2 of us will understand LOL) - this card was an easy peasy one to come up with! It's smaller in size, which is perfect too, as i am going to use it as an addition to a surprise - almost like a little tag.

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Animal Magic
A Gem of  a challenge - Love and Romance

I love that little paper pieced heart, and the glittery bit altogether is just so yummy! I guess I am quite a girly girl myself LOL.

I do believe I deserve the below badge, don't you?

I'll be back soon, with more of my cards for the challenge.

In the meantime, have a great week!
