For the boys!

Good evening Everyone,

Time for another DT project & a new challenge over at Divas by Design (time flies!)... This week's challenge is Let's hear it for the boys. Not an easy one for me, for sure, since I am usually rather useless with male cards. However, believe it or not, I actually have not one but TWO creations for this week's theme... I had a few manly occasions to celebrate recently ;-)

The first card is a little bit more traditional, with the oh so recently popular "tache" (of even a few of them!). The other one is more of a shaped card - having fun with different folds of cards is always most welcome for me - love making these a bit more quirky creations!

Hope you like these, have a great day!

A little mustache managed to hide even on the inside ;-)

The card opens (when you "unhook" the front from underneath the collar)
and reveals the message inside - fun!

I am entering my cards into the following challenges:
Inky Chicks - Monochromatic
Inky Impressions - 3D projects
Paper Crafting Journey - Make it manly/boyish

Just Because...

Hello Everyone,

Hope you've all had a good weekend! Mine was mostly a lazy one, with only a bit of productive time, but I enjoyed it thoroughly ;-) Crafty-wise, last week was great, since I won 2 challenges, and was chosen top 5 in another one! I have never been lucky enough to win anything through the random generator, so I was over the moon! One of the prizes was a digital paper kit for an album, and the other one was £10 to spend over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts! Happy days, crafty shopping for free is the best kind!

This week, over at Divas by Design, the challenge is RUBBER STAMPS ONLY. I don't own a lot of rubber stamps (I will soon - just purchased a few, hee hee), and most of them are sentiments, hence I created a simple but cheerful "any occasion" card, and by the way used a whole lot of washi tape, which was super fun!

Hope you like it:

A bit of flash here, but it shows the vivid colours better!

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Love to Create - Make it sparkle with bling
A Gem of a challenge - Spots AND stripes
Runway inspired challenge - Diane von Furstenberg

Have a great week!

Dies and hearts

Good evening Everyone,

I have just noticed that for some reason my recent creation for the Divas by Design blog has not been posted here... I would have sworn that I wrote a post about it already... But hey, since it doesn't appear to be showing anywhere, I guess I'll put it here now... Better late than never, right? :-)

The card, even though made for Mother's Day, is kind of in the heart/Valentine's mood, so the timing is not the worst anyway. Lots of dies used for that one, including the base of the card! It was really fun to make, I must say!

Hope you like it:

I am entering the card into the following challenges:

Love to Create: Color Challenge - use red or pink
Cute Card Thursday - Clever Cutting
Paper Crafting Journey - Love is in the air
QKR Stampede - Sentiment only
The East Wind CB - Love - sorry, don't have any of your images yet, but hopefully soon I will :-)
Whimsy Stamps - Love is in the air

Hope you have a good Monday tomorrow! I am back to work after a week of staying at home...

M.
