Mantle Banner - 12 Days of Christmas projects with Trinity Stamps

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing a lovely, and relatively simple to make, mantle banner. I wasn't entirely sure at the beginning if I would actually use it, but once I placed it around the mantlepiece, I totally fell in love! I have a feeling I might be making more of these, for various occasions.

A slimline Christmas card, using coordinating dies instead of the stamp set

Hi Everyone,

How are you getting on with your Christmas cards? 

I am really proud of myself this year - the plan to make at least one or two Christmas cards every month has totally paid off! I will finally have enough cards for my closest friends and family, woohoo! I plan to step it up with 3 cards a month next year, that way I might even have some cards to spare! ;o)

I am on the Trinity Stamps blog again today, sharing a fun idea on using the coordinating dies for my focal image, instead of the actual stamp set. Have you ever tried it? It won't work with every stamp&die set, but when it does, it makes the investment in the coordinating dies so much sweeter!

Glow in the dark card - Slimline Boos

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post today, to let you know that Trinity Stamps are celebrating their upcoming new release with an Instagram Hop. Head over to my Instagram account, or to the Trinity one, to find out more. 

I am sharing a fun card with some new additions to the Trinity Family - Slimline Boos (a slimline stampset) & Hello Boo-tiful (a standalone die).

The card was super quick to make, since I didn't do any colouring - just stamping in black. The colours were added with use of coloured cardstock. What does give this design a definite wow factor is the use of Glow In The Dark embossing powder on the "Hello" sentiment. 

The embossing powder does make it a little bit yellowish, but it's still delicate enough to allow to "hide" this part of the sentiment. And then when the lights go out... Ta-dah! Surprise! My kids kidnapped the card from me and are keeping it in their bedroom - they love the glow in the dark effect!
