A trio of cards with Lawn Fawn Year Seven

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're having a great weekend! We had a bit of a hectic one, but it was really nice and full of fun times spent with our lovely girls. We're a bit tired, but happy :o)

Today, I am sharing with you a little trio of cards I made with the adorable Lawn Fawn "Year Seven" stamp set. It's one of those cute small sets that are really inexpensive. I don't actually own a lot of Lawn Fawn sets, but I fell in love with this one, and had to have it! Sadly, it waited a good while to be inked up, but now that I've used it, I wanna use it some more! Those cute piñatas are so much fun to colour that I am sure I'll use this set again!

The idea behind the trio of cards was that I wanted to use one sheet of 12x12 paper for all three of them, hence I went with a slightly smaller size than usual - they're all 4x4. The first card was my initial idea for this stamp set, and the other two cards just happened "by the way" - I already had a few of these piñatas coloured, hence I thought I might as well use them all! :o)

Heart flop 1st birthday card with MFT products

Hi Everyone,

Hope you're all doing fine. I cannot believe that little Hanna is already 3 weeks old - time is really flying! My older daughter, Amelia, will be 2,5 this week - where has the time gone?! Wow, they grow fast! 

And speaking of growing up fast - I needed a 1st birthday card for a family member, and so I attempted to do some crafting for the first time since Hanna's birth. It didn't go perfectly well, since I don't work well with interruptions (and naps are not that long, especially when one needs to do other stuff around the house also), but I almost managed to finish the card in one day, so I was happy enough with that progress. 

My colouring with Copics is a bit rusty, but I decided to continue on with the card, despite little boo boos here and there, and I think overall the end result is not too bad! This is the very first time I attempted a flop card, too, and I enjoyed making it - it just took a bit longer than usual to think of all the elements & how they were going to work together. I will definitely be making more of these, though - they're really fun!
