Eggstraordinary Egghunt with Create a Smile - Easter Cards 2018

Hi Everyone,

Have you had a good St.Patrick's Day? :o) We had visitors from Ireland over in our place this year, so we had a bit of celebrations (with lots of fun props brought from Ireland, which our Little Girl had a ball with!), and it was definitely a nice day - it was sunny, too!

The visitors are still with us, hence I'm just popping by with a very quick post today, to share with you the first Easter Cards I made this year - I still have a few to go, but I think I'll manage to make & post them all in time - woohoo!

I got the "Eggstraordinary Egghunt" set by Create a Smile last year, and it patiently waited for this year's Easter projects. These little egg-shaped animals make me smile every time I look at them (the company has an apt name for sure!), and I am so happy that I get to create my cards with them this year. I hope they make the recipients smile, too!

There were lots of lovely Easter-themed stamp sets released this year, and I already have my eye on one or two for next year's cards :o) You'll have to wait until next year to see my "winners", or maybe just keep an eye for Haul Videos over at my YouTube channel, LOL!

Happy Birthday St. Patrick's Style with Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Monday!

What do you do when you have a friend whose birthday happens to be on Saint Patrick's Day? You don't make them a green card, for sure, since they're surely sick of it! However, what happens when they happen to like the green colour? Well... you have little choice - a green card it is, LOL! 

I was delighted to see that Honey Bee Stamps want to "turn Instagram green" for the coming week, as I was planning to make this card today anyhow! It's so nice when you can enter a challenge or initiative so effortlessly, isn't it? 

I am a busy bee today (no pun intended, I swear!), so this post will be very short, but I just wanted to make sure that I get to share this card with you :o)

I have to say, even though we still have snow here in Helsinki, and the world is very black and white, just looking at this card and its fresh colours makes me feel all spring-like!

Birthday card with a little scene

Hi Everyone,

Happy Mother's Day to those of you who celebrate today! I don't, I'm sticking to my Polish roots and am celebrating in May, but hey, who says I can't celebrate both times? ;o) All mothers deserve to be pampered more than once a year for sure anyways! 

Today, I am sharing with you a little scene I created for a girl-friend of mine. We kind of have an inside joke related to sheep, so the Ewe are the best stamp set comes out very often when I make cards for her, regardless of the occasion ;o)

I used a few scraps for this card (like the little orange "frame" - that was a left over from cutting out a scalloped panel), and boy it feels good to do that! I also love making these sheep fluffy with the snow markers/pens - don't they look almost real that way? As real as a sheep holding a balloon can look, I guess...?!
